Pumping and application of troweled concrete
Troweled concrete consists of a slab of variable thickness (minimum 5 cm, depending on the demands to which it will be subjected). It can be applied on selected compacted soils, granular stabilized soils or subfloors. Once the concrete has been distributed, hardeners and/or pigments are applied, and its finish is achieved by using a mechanical trowel. The aggregates increase its resistance to wear. The troweled finish makes the concrete non-porous, resulting in an easy-to-maintain floor. Troweled concrete can be applied in various colors, maximizing its aesthetic factor.
In order to minimize the appearance of cracks, polyethylene fibers and, depending on the use, even steel mesh are used. Our state-of-the-art machinery, additives and specialized labor are used in the development and application, facilitating and perfecting the final result.
