New Rosario Criminal Justice Center
YEAR: 2015/16
CLIENT: RIVA S.A.
SERVICES: This new building was conceived based on the characteristics of the criminal process that has been in force since February 10 and is based on oral and public hearings. It was designed by the Special Projects Unit of the Ministry of Public Works and Housing of Santa Fe, in accordance with the requirements requested by the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights.
For its implementation, a site with fluid vehicular access and very well connected by public transport was chosen. This is the block where the Clemente Álvarez Emergency Hospital (Heca) was formerly located, delimited by Sarmiento, Virasoro, San Martín and Rueda streets.
The building under construction is composed of a ground floor, two upper levels and a semi-buried basement. It occupies 40% of the block, generating a new public space in the remaining 60%, where a civic plaza will serve as the main entrance.
The building complex will house the Criminal Investigation Courts and the Criminal Trial Courts with their Public and Oral Hearing Rooms, Gesell Chambers, the Criminal Appeals Court, the Public Criminal Defense Service, the Public Prosecution Office, the Jail with interview boxes and an examination room.
We made all the subfloors and cellular concrete floors.
